HIGH LIGHT
by Dave Butcher
Dave Butcher Photography (2005)

High Light is a large format 64-page softback featuring 60 stunning black and white landscape images, the solo book debut of widely respected landscape photographer Dave Butcher.

Dave is a member of Peak District Products and High Peak Artists and Craft Workers Association. High Light includes four portfolios of his images of hills and high places both within and outside the UK, including several magnificent landscapes of the Peak District in sharp, monochrome detail.

The reader is also offered advice on equipment and techniques for successful landscape photography, extending to traditional darkroom printing techniques, which Dave continues to use exclusively as the best medium for his twin passions of photography and hill and mountain walking. He has been producing photographs for almost 30 years and has exhibited widely. Many of his images have been used to illustrate other publications and magazines and he is a regular, highly respected guest lecturer on the UK camera club circuit.
